MANCHESTER, CT — A speeding car full of empty bottles was corralled on a stretch of Interstate 84 in Manchester after a 1-mile pursuit at 96 mph, state police said.
At eighteen minutes past noon on Friday, a state trooper who was patrolling I-84 eastbound in Manchester and observed a Lexus sedan traveling in the center lane at a rate of speed, according to an incident report.

Lynch was transported to Troop H, where he was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence.
