Authorities searching for assault suspect in Colfax

One suspect is still on the run in Colfax Monday night after a fight broke out on a city street.

Colfax police, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa State Patrol spent the night searching for three men. They say the suspects attacked another man and injured him with a glass bottle.

Two of the men who took off are now in custody.

Deputies with a thermal imaging drone were searching a wooded area near the railroad tracks for the third suspect.
