The Twisted Tail 2023 Summer Whiskey Series

Philadelphia, PA - The Twisted Tail will continue its Summer Whiskey Series on June 14, with a "Dip & Sip" social hour featuring Maker's Mark from 5 -7 pm. The Summer Whiskey Series, hosted by the Southern-inspired bar, restaurant, and live Blues venue in Headhouse Square, is a month-long program that runs through August, celebrating brown spirits. It includes educational, social hours, unique cocktails, meet and greets with brand representatives, and more.

Before the Dip & Sip, The Twisted Tail will collect all its Maker's Mark bottles. These bottles will be repurposed by a locally-owned, zero-waste glass repurposing business into limited-edition rocks glasses. During the event, Maker's Mark ambassadors will dip the repurposed rocks glasses into the Maker's Mark signature red wax and use them to serve cocktails. Repurposed glasses will be limited and available to the first people arriving.

To highlight Maker's Mark's status as Whiskey Of The Month, the Twisted Tail will be serving a Maker's Old Fashioned ($14) using Maker's Mark Premium Bourbon. All Maker's Mark sales will be discounted by $1 per ounce during June.

The Society Hill bar-restaurant will also celebrate brown spirits in the spring and summer with monthly ticketless events and social hours in collaboration with popular brands such as Maker's Mark and Laphroaig. Each event will be held on or before the following summer holidays for whiskey:
